Stephanie is a respected advisor, facilitator, and speaker on governance, risks, compliance, and internal audit. She is a performance-driven business strategist with more than 20 years of leadership experience in prominent global corporations. She is a globally sought-after trainer and speaker on both technical and soft skill topics.
As a seasoned executive coach, trainer, and influential change agent, Stephanie helps organizations introduce, handle, and manage change or improve productivity, accuracy, honesty, and transparency at worldwide locations through audit and compliance program launches. She has also worked on Wall Street for over 25 years with a wide range of experiences concentrating on regulatory, compliance and legal risks and operations.
She has been an internal audit professsional for over 18 years. Stephanie worked at American International Group, Inc. (AIG) as the Global Head of Internal Audit Training and Policy, and was she responsible for global and corporate Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal audits in the Internal Audit Group at Deutsche Bank. She started her career as a Private Banker at BNY and then was a Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY before moving into internal auditing.
She has specialized experience in financial services, asset and wealth management, risk management, corporate governance, compliance and leadership training, and insurance. Stephanie offers comprehensive working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (BSA and USA Patriot Act), Sanctions (e.g. OFAC, UN, and FAFT), Privacy, Competition Laws (Anti-trust), Foreign Corrupt Practices (FCPA), and financial services product knowledge (banking, securities, and insurance).
Stephanie is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Yoga Alliance. Stephamnie is also a Certification Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200). She earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Communications from Wells College, NY, and has an MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from St. Peter's University, NJ.
